The Ag. CGC Sylvester Ndidi Nwakuche, MFR, mni received in audience the Executive Director of Hope Behind Bars Africa, Oluwafunke Adeoye, Esq and her team.
During the engagement, the CEO gave an overview of her organization’s activities and a recount of projects she has executed in collaboration with different Custodial Centres across the country, as well as an outline of new initiatives she intends partnering with the Service on.
A key highlight of the visit was the presentation of some beautifully designed tote bags made by female inmates in Suleja Custodial Centre in collaboration with Hope Behind Bars Africa during one of its vocational training programs.
The engagement explored other avenues for collaboration to upscale the existing relationship between the organization and the NCoS.
